About Fulbourn

Fulbourn is situated South East of Cambridge, in a large village which offers excellent amenities, including 3 pubs all serving a good choice of food, a supermarket, Chinese takeaway, kebab takeaway, small tea rooms and an antique shop.  Cambridge is easily accessible, just a short drive away, but if you prefer to leave your car, a bus stop is directly opposite our property and Park and Ride service is nearby.

Fulbourn has easy access to all the major roads, such as A11, M11,  A14 and A10 and is just 30 minutes by car from Stansted Airport, 15 minutes from Newmarket for the popular race days and evenings, 15 minutes from Duxford for the spectacular air shows and, of course, the beautiful University City of Cambridge with its famous colleges, pretty market place and scenic walks or river trips along the river Cam.

Trips to London by train or coach are easy to arrange and offer efficient, regular and reasonably priced travel to the capital city.  Trains run regularly from Cambridge station, which is a short drive by car or bus and a National Express coach service runs hourly from Cambridge Bus Station. 

The local bus runs every 20 minutes at peak times until late evening and hourly after midnight until 3am for those guests who wish to visit the city at night and enjoy the many bars and restaurants in the lively city centre.
